Jeddah Airport (JED) pickup guide

King Abdulaziz International Airport is the main gateway for pilgrims heading to Makkah (Mecca). Here is what to expect on arrival and exactly how your prebooked airport transfer works.

Which terminal will you arrive at?

JED has several terminals: Terminal 1 — the main terminal handling most scheduled international and domestic flights — the North Terminal used by some international carriers, and the dedicated Hajj Terminal used for pilgrimage charter traffic in season. Your airline determines your terminal — check your booking confirmation or the airline's website, and share your flight number with us so your driver waits at the right arrivals hall.

How Meet & Greet works

Free on every airport pickup: after immigration, baggage claim and customs, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. They help with your luggage and walk you to the vehicle — no negotiating at the kerb, no finding a ride after a long flight. Your driver and vehicle details are sent 24 hours before pickup, so you know who to look for before you board your flight.

Landing late at night

A large share of international Umrah flights land at Jeddah late at night. Public options thin out after the last scheduled train and bus departures, which is when arrivals-hall price negotiation is at its worst. A prebooked transfer removes the question: your price is fixed at booking, and your driver is scheduled against your actual landing time, whenever that is.

Common questions

Where does my driver meet me at Jeddah Airport?

Inside the arrivals hall of your terminal, holding a sign with your name. Meet & Greet is free on every airport pickup — your driver helps with luggage and walks you to the vehicle.

Where is the Hajj Terminal?

The Hajj Terminal is a separate, dedicated terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport used for pilgrimage charter flights, mainly during Hajj season. Your airline or group organiser confirms whether your flight uses it — most scheduled international flights use Terminal 1.

What if my flight lands at 2am?

Book with your flight number and your driver is scheduled against your actual arrival time — night arrivals are routine for international Umrah flights into Jeddah.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We monitor your flight for free when you share your airline and flight number at checkout. Your driver adjusts to the actual landing time, so a delay never costs you your transfer.
