Ramadan and Hajj-season transport pricing, explained

Why peak prices rise

Ramadan and the weeks around Hajj concentrate millions of travellers into the same corridors in a short window. Demand for vehicles and drivers multiplies while supply stays roughly flat, and every operator prices accordingly. That part is normal — the difference is whether the seasonal price is published and fixed before you pay, or discovered on arrival.

How our seasonal pricing works

• Every route has a published base price per vehicle class.
• During defined peak periods, a seasonal rate multiplier applies to the base price.
• The multiplier is already included in the quote you see — the price you accept is the price you are charged, fixed at booking.
• No surge, no renegotiation on the day, no "rates void in peak season" small print.

For real numbers on your dates, run a quote — it takes seconds and shows the final seasonal price per vehicle class before any payment step.

How the wider market handles peaks

A pattern worth knowing when comparing offers: many published rates in this market are quietly voided for Ramadan and Hajj, with the real price set on arrival or shortly before travel. It is a common practice, not a scam in itself — but it means a low advertised number may not be the number you pay. Ask any provider whether their peak-season price is fixed at booking.

Book earlier for peak season

Peak-season vehicles sell out earliest, and with free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, booking early costs nothing extra if plans change.See how far ahead to book.

Upcoming peak dates (provisional)

Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin in February 2027, and the Hajj season falls around late May to early June 2027. Islamic calendar dates are confirmed by official moon-sighting announcements, so treat any Gregorian dates as provisional until announced.
